 About our company

Established in 1970, Noel Zwecker International Transport has developed to serve many companies, large and small, in the food supply chain throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom and Europe.

Personal, dependable service has brought growth and expansion, but the company policy is still focused on a continued commitment to provide high quality levels of service to all our customers.

In 1996 we gained registration to the international standard ISO 9002 and quality continues to be a cornerstone of the business, in 1999 we became members of the British Frozen Food Federation.

The operation is based near the City of Armagh in premises that have expanded as the business has grown over the years since 1970.

 Our Fleet

Our fleet is drawn from the major vehicle manufacturers of Europe. Top of the range tractor units and rigid lorries from Scania, Volvo, Renault, Mercedes, DAF, or MAN provide the pulling power needed to deliver the goods on behalf of our customers.

Our trailers, which are required to carry a diverse range of produce requiring temperature control, are all equipped with electronic temperature recording equipment. The refrigeration process is automatically monitored and the data downloaded and stored for reproduction as necessary. The accuracy and calibration of refrigeration temperature controls is routinely checked during service to ensure that product is correctly preserved at the customer's specified temperature.

Vehicle and trailer maintenance is by schedule. Tractor units are serviced at circa 40,000 km intervals.

Trailers are subject to safety inspection on return to our depot following each major journey and in any event at not greater interval of 1 month.

Vehicles and trailers are thoroughly cleaned on every return to depot with high temperature or pressure equipment as appropriate.

Drivers are trained in hygiene control in order to ensure the cleanliness of the interior of the trailers for presentation to load at all times.
